Kingdom Under Fire II – Gameplay

I wonder how many still remember the 1st Kingdom Under Fire games for the PC and XBOX? Here is an update on Kingdom Under Fire II from the developers that also created the N3 game for Q? on XBOX 360 which was sort of a spiritual successor to KUF. So far I am impressed with the graphics engine used for the real-time cutscenes. Check out some of the screenshots here.

SFIV Sakura Aftermatch Trailer

Seems CAPCOM has released a new trailer for Street Fighter IV (SFIV) detailing events after SFII featuring our young spunky character Sakura. In this trailer she faces off Zangeif and it goes into a little bit of her back-story of her school days with her classmates and her instructor Dan who provides a little comedic relief with Blanka.

It ends off with her talking about her dreams and her taking a liking to Ryu which she holds on to his picture at the press conference.

E309 Metal Gear Solid Rising

Quite hilarious that Kojima is making a game for the 360, all were hoping that snake was making an appearance but instead they get raiden. the XBOX boss was surprised when Kojima corrected him on mentioning Solid Snake.

According to Joystiq the game is headed for the PS3 and PC as well.

E309 FINAL FANTASY XIII English Demo

Final Fantasy XIII was demoed at the MS press conference running on the xbox360 build. So far Lighting and the Afro dude sounds cool. A summon of Odin was shown at the end, but I know I am going to play this on a PS3 instead.

Microsoft Japan has started a flyer ad campaing with cute anime charater XBOX360 Tan promoting the benefits of the xbox360 console over the PLAYSTATION 3. With all of the titles in the catalog published or coming to the PS3 how can it be better?

Bayonetta Desgin Process

I really like how Platinum Games is doing their promotion for their game Bayonetta for audiences outside Japan. On their WordPress.com Blog they have 2 new posts on the design and 3d Modelling process for Bayonetta. The Design of Bayonetta is by Mari Shimazaki and 3d Model by Kenichiro “Yoshi” Yoshimura. Great reference for me to learn.

Microsoft XBOX360 Japan 2009 Spring Titles

At a XBOX360 Japan press event on 21 Apr 2009 in Tokyo Microsoft announed a slew of titles for XBOX360 and XBLA for the rest of the year. I am surprised that Mass Effect and Gears of War 2 is just getting to be released. HD video at Gamersyde.

Dream C Club Trailer PV

Announced as part of the plethora of xbox360 games for 2009 in japan Dream C Club is an alternate iDOLMASTER type dating sim. Instead of getting the girl the usual way. You have to work your way to pay for getting into the hostess club to chat with the girls, sing karaoke and get them drunk to reveal their feelings. It is not the 1st time that D3 Publisher does some interesting quirky games. Its definitely more sexy than iDOLMASTER.

Magna Carta 2 XBOX360

Looks like Magna Carta 2 is coming out for the XBOX 360. Hyun Tae Kim is heading the character designs again and yes his buxom ladies seem to have problems with their legs being disjointed from their bodies. HTK needs to get the proportions right.

Bayonetta Japanese Climax PV

Bayonetta Japanese website has been updated with a new sexy trailer showing off some more story abd gameplay, such as transforming into a cat and taking on large monsters. Her clothes and hair also seem to transform into weapons as well.

The game is shaping up nicely with the main character Bayonetta showing a lot of sexy moves.

Can’t wait to give this game a go.

Survived IT SHOW 2009

Went to take a look at the IT SHOW 2009 in Singapore Suntec Convention Center and it was not a good experience for me.
