Tales of Vesperia First Strike PV

Production I.G is making an anime based off the Tales of Vesperia PS3 game coming out in Japan. The anime seems to be a prequal before the game recounting the stories of Yuri and Flynn as Knights. If only there was a confirmation of a US release I can finally sell off the 360 game and enjoy the extras coming in the PS3 version.

Looks like good things come to those that wait. Tales of Vesperia has been announced for PS3 which will be an enhanced port of the XBOX360 one. In the PV you can hear the new character voice of Patti Fleur. In addition to the bonus character there will sub-missions, fully voiced scenes and a movie tie-in.

Vesperia – Tales of Channel DVD

The recent Tales of Vesperia Limited Edition in Japan has a behind the scenes look at the making of the game, hosted by Yuri Lowell (Kosuke Toriumi) and Estelle (Mai Nakahara). If I am not wrong BONNIE PINK makes an appearance and talks about the game opening.

Tales of Vesperia Pantasu Swimsuits Bunny Suit

It would not be “a touch of eechi or ero” without this in Tales of Vesperia, just skip to 00:52 to see the slow-mo pantsu action fan-service for the above. The 2nd video is a scene at the bath. The characters are dressed in funny outfits.

xbox360 sales rise Japan

xbox360_news_03
Thanks to Tales of Vesperia XBOX360 sales rose to 24,000 on 2008.08.02 . Not surprising as some can’t wait for the game to appear on PS3. I have thought of getting an XBOX360 just for new RPGS but I still will take a wait before jumping-in.

Poll: Have you played Tales of Vesperia yet?

Tales of Vesperia Does Cel-Shading Right

Tales of Vesperia 01

Wired has an article of Tales of Vesperia, and I can’t agree anymore that it got to be one of the best Cel shading for a video game this gen. A demo is out right now on the XBOX 360 Marketplace but sadly I hope I can get a chance to play it on my PS3.

Tales of Vesperia Demo

tn_62841320080303_182123_1_big

A Demo of the game is out at the XBOX Live Marketplace Japan. Gamersyde has captured the video. Looks pretty with the cel shaded characters and all, but the English Dub is a little awarkward, it sounds pretty decent  but I hope it gets better when the actual game ship.

Release Date:
Japan; 8/07/08
US; 8/19/08
