TGS09 Valkyria Chronicles 2 Trailer

Looks like the Official Website for Valkyria Chronicles 2 have posted videos from TGS2009 with Trailers and Character cutscenes. The game play does not look too bad seeing how they managed to squeeze a PS3 sized game engine into a PSP.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 Reports to School

Famitsu has a news article on the upcoming Valkyria Chronicles 2. The game takes place 2 years after the 1st game and focus on a group of students engaged in battles. The main premise is a young officer in training has been called into action to stop a civil war in southern Gallia. The new revealed cast of characters, ‘Zari’, ‘Cosette’ and ‘Aban Harden’ looks rather cool but typical of the usual school-story animes you are familar with. The medic character design Cosette is rather cute though.

The game will retain the same look as its PS3 counterpart utilizing the CANVAS engine ported to the PSP.

Valkyria Chronicles gets Anime 2009

Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyria Chronicles) will be getting the anime treatment in 2009. The Studio that brought you Tetsuwan Biridy Decode A1-Pictures will be handling the series. I can’t wait for 2009 to watch it and it will definately have Maria Inoue voicing Alica for sure. Check out the preview site here.

Valkyria Chronicles Japan DLC comes to the world

Playstation Blog and Siliconera have confirmed that the US version of Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyria Chronicles) will be seeing the Japanese DLC in the future
of 2009. I am glad that SEGA is bringing the extra content out from Japan makes it easier to decided to get the English version which has the Japanese voice tracks included. Can;t wait to play it this christmas and hear Maria Inoue’s voice.

Senjou no Valkyria DLC – EX Hard Mode side story

Japan gets new Valkyria downloadable content featuring an EX-Hard mode and a side story of Eddie Buntai. I am now slanting towards getting the Japanese version to play the extra content, unless something is announced in the coming months for the Western Version. The new story content and EX mode debut on the JP PSN store for 600yen and 300yen each. [via Famitsu]

Gamevideos has a positive review of the Japanese version of Senjou no Valkyria(Valkyria Chronicles [US]) I am looking forward to play this game once I get back to my PS3. GOing to import to hear Maria Inoue voice acting ^^
