TGS09 Valkyria Chronicles 2 Trailer

Looks like the Official Website for Valkyria Chronicles 2 have posted videos from TGS2009 with Trailers and Character cutscenes. The game play does not look too bad seeing how they managed to squeeze a PS3 sized game engine into a PSP.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 Teaser Trailer PV

Valkyria Chronicles 2: The Royal Military Academy of Gallia, what a long tag line, has its 1st teaser trailer for the game, its nice to see they are using anime cutscene instead of the PSP “CANVAS” engine which will be impossible to replicate its PS3 counterpart. The official site Blog seems to have been updated with more information on the gameplay and the character art.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 Officially Announced!

The website has finally launched yesterday and Edy and Homer had the ‘pleasure’ of unveiling the game on the Site’s Blog. It was a nice way of introducing the series using the characters on the Blog. I do look forward to the coming updates. The game is set to launch in 2009 in Japan most probably together with the PSP Go launch.

Siliconera reports that there will be Ad-Hoc play for the PSP so groups can get together to play with the Blitz System.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 Reports to School

Famitsu has a news article on the upcoming Valkyria Chronicles 2. The game takes place 2 years after the 1st game and focus on a group of students engaged in battles. The main premise is a young officer in training has been called into action to stop a civil war in southern Gallia. The new revealed cast of characters, ‘Zari’, ‘Cosette’ and ‘Aban Harden’ looks rather cool but typical of the usual school-story animes you are familar with. The medic character design Cosette is rather cute though.

The game will retain the same look as its PS3 counterpart utilizing the CANVAS engine ported to the PSP.

Here is an old school RPG for the PSP made by korean company Ntreevsoft makers of Pangya. Character Art and gameplay looks good. SEGA published the JP version and Atlus will be bringing it for english audiences. The ASIA Version is out now and its in English.

Senjou no Valkyria Anime Apr 09

“Project Valkyria” is a game to anime conversion of SEGA’s PS3 game Senjou no Valkyria “Valkyria Chronicles”.

Valkyria Chronicles Japan DLC comes to the world

Playstation Blog and Siliconera have confirmed that the US version of Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyria Chronicles) will be seeing the Japanese DLC in the future
of 2009. I am glad that SEGA is bringing the extra content out from Japan makes it easier to decided to get the English version which has the Japanese voice tracks included. Can;t wait to play it this christmas and hear Maria Inoue’s voice.

Infinite Space – Short Film – Production I.G x GONZO x Platinum Games x NUDE Maker

Platinum Games new RPG called ‘Infinite Space‘ will be getting a short anime film treatment from Prodcution I.G and GONZO. It seems that this trend of promoting games is catching on and I think it is a good tie in to get more awareness of the product. SEGA has been on a roll lately with RPGs with the 7th Dragon announcement and other game titles. The Game Infinite Space has seem to drawn out Nude Maker after their previous Title Tekki Taisen on xbox.

7th Dragon – Website is Live

It turns out that SEGA’s mysterious new RPG is actually called 7th Dragon. The game is being handled by the makers of Etrain Odyssey. The character designs are cute though. Game Video PV Below
