Kingdom Under Fire II – Gameplay

I wonder how many still remember the 1st Kingdom Under Fire games for the PC and XBOX? Here is an update on Kingdom Under Fire II from the developers that also created the N3 game for Q? on XBOX 360 which was sort of a spiritual successor to KUF. So far I am impressed with the graphics engine used for the real-time cutscenes. Check out some of the screenshots here.

Card Saga Wars

This is an interesting Homemade Fan fighting game based on MUGEN. Card Saga Wars puts all the famous video games characters into a fighting video game for fans to play. So far the trailers shown looks good with the sprite based character drawings. CLOUD vs Link is a favorite so far. There were more characters planned but were scaled back. Its a nice fan-service game but I have my own doubts and reservations about it since there is no demo available yet.

E309 Star Wars The Old Republic

This is a really good opening cinematic to the Star Wars MMO game that is being developed by Bioware.

CNY Cleaning PC Games

Its the Year of the OX and time to do a little spring cleaning. I recently discoverd that I have kept quite a bunch of game boxes from early PC games. I used to game a lot on PC Win95 WinNT and Win XP. I managed to snap a few photos of my favorite boxes before throwing them out for recycling.

ZWEI PSP

Falcom makers of the Ys series, is releasing its 2001 PC RPG Game for the PSP this year 2008. Check out the video demo at their site [Zwei Video Demo] the sequel Zwei2 will release this year 2008.9 as well. Grab the wallpaper from my flickr.

Blade and Soul

Looks really cool this upcoming action MMO from NC Soft also rumored to Land on PS3. One thing that strikes me is how the artstyle of the original concept drawaings are translated well into 3D. Check out the wallpepers below by Hyung Tae Kim and trailer PV.

ACER Predator

Looks like this can take on the HP BLACKBIRD. Its on the prowl. No street pricing announced yet, it does look like a transformer or maybe a gundam?? Expected launch Q3 / Q4 2008. The only thing I am intrigued by is the hot swappable SATA drives, this could be the ultimate 3d Rig workstation, but of course you will need have the software to harness its power.

ZWEI II

PC RPG Game from Falcom, Looks like it will work on VISTA, XP and Win 2000, One thing interesting about PC games and eroge from Japan is the wide variety of Windows systems that they try to cater to. Game comes out on 2008.9.25 Their Homepage has updates to the game [ZWEI II Offcial site]

Diablo III Offcial Hell Ressurection

Okies Blizzard Fans! Its offcial the Lord of Darkness has returned. Blizzard has ressurected DIABLO to challenge new adventurers. The game is now in full 3d! Check out the splash page at Blizzard and the offcial site for movies screenshots and trailers. Hell Defrosted for this one. Looks like PC gaming will have a future.
