Finally a new trailer for FINAL FANTASY XIII from TGS2009. Serah looks cute Game comes out December 17 for PlayStation 3 in Japan. For the US and Europe, spring 2010 is when you can expect it for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Seems like the inter-web has uploaded a preview clip of yesterday SQUARE-ENIX pre TGS Final Fantasy XIII event, in a leaked picture from TV Snow is seen with a new character Serah, which he gives her a ride on his Shiva bike. Check out the video below for a preview of the event on Japanese TV.

Final Fantasy XIII Premiere event 2009

Looks like the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XIII gets a release date on 2009.12.17. SQUARE-ENIX has jsut held a Premiere event showcasing a new trailer of the game for Toky Game Show 2009. Andriasang, Famitsu and 1up.com have more in depth coverage and pictures.

E309 FINAL FANTASY XIII English Demo

Final Fantasy XIII was demoed at the MS press conference running on the xbox360 build. So far Lighting and the Afro dude sounds cool. A summon of Odin was shown at the end, but I know I am going to play this on a PS3 instead.

1UP unboxes CLOUD Black

1UP has couple of photos of unboxing CLOUD Black PS3. Looks mighty find but I do wonder for that price is it worth it just to get an emblem and a matte finish? They have also captured much higher-res footage of the FFXIII demo.

I have embeded a video from another gamer who got his CLOUB Black PS3. It would be really good if these PS3s in the future will be able to play PS2 games. The decision is back to SONY again.

It has finally launched. The new trailer contains new CG scenes, gameplay and character voices.

It seems there are some new updates to the Japanese Square-Enix FFXIII site, with a countdown timer to a trailer that will be shown. Me thinks it will be the TGS or Jump Fiesta ones that were shown in the RE-Riplai. There is a character portrait update of Sazh, he seems like a funny guy to Lightning and Snow.

FF7 Advent Children Complete PS3 Bundle

In an endless bid to get more cash from fans and selling more merchandise, SQUARE-ENIX has announced a PS3 with a CLOUD Decal on top, bundled with the upcoming Blu-Ray release of FINAL FANTASY VII: Advent Children Complete and a trial of FINAL FANTASY XIII. There are now 3 versions of the Movie which die hard fans can choose from. I wonder if CLOUD does no mind being used to hawk SQUARE-ENIX wares? I will be looking to get the FFVII AC Complete blu-ray with the FFXIII demo to see if it is worth the wait for this title.

Pre-Order it now at Play-Asia or face Sephiroth wrath.

The PS3 Bundle Blu-Ray Details are as follows:
Square Enix has dated the previously announced FFVII: AC PLAYSTATION 3 bundle. It goes on sale 2009 April 16 in Japan, and here’s what the bundle contains:

• “Cloud Black” HDD 160GB PS3
• Final Fantasy XIII Trail Version Set (FFXIII demo)
• Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Blu-ray disc

This pack is priced at ¥49,980 (US$551). Those interested in purchasing will be happy to know that Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete has English language options. No word whether the demo is as well, but smart money says “no” as Square Enix most likely hasn’t done the localization yet.

Notice some resemblance to the Gun-Metal MGS4 one?

RE: Final Fantasy XIII PV (trailer)

Check out the latest trailers form the DKS3173 event of FINAL FANTASY XIII and FINAL FANTASY versus XIII that came on SQUARE-ENIX special RE: DVD. Its funny that FFXIII still shows for “PLAYSTATION 3 only”. I am getting both when launched but I am liking FF Versus XIII more than FF XIII.
