Summer Wars – Hosoda Mamoru

Summer Wars is a new anime by Hosoda Mamoru Director of “Toki Wa kareku Shoujo” (The Girl Who Lept through Time). I recently learnt of this anime from HalcyonRealms.com . The anime trailer has appeared on Kodokawa Anime YouTube channel and from the first impressions of its plot twist of combining sci-fi fantasy, with everyday childhood school life and subtle love romantic feelings in an anime is a plus for me. I will be catching the DVD/Blu-Ray once it comes out as I am a fan of Hosoda Mamoru’s previous work.

Sora no Otoshimono PV

そらのおとしもの Sora no Otoshimono is a upcoming anime adapted from a manga illustrated by Suu Minazuk. Story wise its the usual smexy characters and school-life plot of comedy romance. Kodokawa is the anime distributer of this series which I believe from the Offcial site should be coming soon this month.

Tales of Vesperia First Strike PV

Production I.G is making an anime based off the Tales of Vesperia PS3 game coming out in Japan. The anime seems to be a prequal before the game recounting the stories of Yuri and Flynn as Knights. If only there was a confirmation of a US release I can finally sell off the 360 game and enjoy the extras coming in the PS3 version.

Found this video of the 1st Episode to Cyborg 009 on youtube really neat seeing this. The anime reminds me alot of Astro Boy and feels like a successor to it.

Hataraki Man

Many know Rie-Tanaka for her singing roles in Gundam Seed Destiny. But she did have a role as a seiyuu in this 2006 anime Hataraki-Man 「働きマン」 which means “Working Man”.

If you can read Japanese you should check out this site Win2mac. The site helps new Windows to Mac users with switching. It was recently started last year. Articles include software tips, reviews and tutorial. Unfortunately it’s in Japanese but there are lots of screenshots and cute anime pictures that will help you understand the topic.
