You may have seen a few of my videos in previous anime posts, I am attempting something different from other blogs, I decided to use video as a way to present the anime show I have watched. I am trying to push my blogging content in a different direction incorporating more media.

ARIA Anime Restar-to the Blog Plan

ARIA Anime is back at WordPress.com! Hi folks this is Akiraman here from ARIA Anime I am very much still active in blogging, watching anime, playing Games and Animating more characters. Going back to basics of blogging and I have decided to restart ARIA Anime at WordPress.com all over again.

Well its been a month since the demise of ariaanime.ikimashou.net this proved to be good taking a long hard at the website I built over the last six months in 2007, it caused me to pause and think about the goals of blogging and my website.

Currently I am a guest blogging at anime banzai, I have actually signed up last year and did a little experimenting of providing the same content from ARIA Anime to Anime Banzai to see how the content will fair to another blog audience. While I was restricted to no post any blog promotion about my website I was happy to read reader’s comment on my articles and posts which were mostly gaming and some snippets of Otaku culture. My feedburner feed will be updated to get the latest articles I post there [anime banzai], so update your RSS reader links to point to my feedburner here.

For the future I am keen to get ARIA Anime v3 going again, but I want to add more than just blogging maybe have a small team of writers that want to contribute on Games, anime etc. Right now the plan is to decide whether to go with animeblogger.net or my own webhost. While I am sad that everything I worked hard at creating is gone I did pickup a few things on blogging and wordpress.

During the course of ARIAAnime.ikimashou.net I have been using / eperimeting with the following webservices before my site went down feel free to add me to your friends list, I still upload anime stuff to be used in my posts on anime banzai

-Twitter
-Flickr (lots of Pics anime, game pics, my personal photos etc)
-Zooomr (backup copy of images)
-Youtube (was suspended but registered a new account)
-dailymotion (second video uploads account)

Something to leave behind here, while the possibility of blogging here would be nice I would like to leave some happy trails over at Anime Banzai. When ARIA Anime does come back Announcement will be made here.

Moving Announcement & Future Plans

Hi all, its been quite a while since I’ve updated this blog due to other commitmets and a busy schedule. But the announcement I want to make is that ARIA Anime is rowing on (moving) to ikimashou.net . The new site will be at ariaanime.ikimashou.net (So Update yout bookmarks)

Currently ariaanime.ikimashou… (ARIA Anime v2) is still undergoing development as I am starting to learn more about the inner workings of wordpress, PHP & maybe start my own theme.

I am targeting to resume writing in Jun, will be also re-thinking how I write as well (Hopefully I can get learing wordpres & PHP fast) I will be also trying to move the old post to the new blog and make sure the links still work espicially the youtube & Google vids since they use WordPress.com own code to embed.

As mention earlier in my about page I hope to advance ARIA Anime, now with the full access to wordpress now I am sort of half-way in my goal.

Surprisingly the no. of visitors never fallen below 50 since 2006 Jun. Even when i was not posting regularly

Sick

Kind of feeling under the weather today. I have just taken my medication I dun think I will be able to uptade this weblog for a couple of days. I hope to get well soon… For now I am getting Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo or Tokikake 時をかける少女 (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time) from animesuki fansubbed by roxfan. I will write a review and Post screencaps once I get better

I have recently went to watch A Night in Fantasia 2007 (ANIF 2007)in Melbourne performed by the Eminience Orchestra. Its the first time I have been to a games anime Orchestra concert. Sadly the event was held for only 1 night. The chief conductor for that night was Philip Chu.

Veoh and stage6 (DIVX.com) recently have a huge influx of anime shows un-subbed & subbed unlicensed anime series that are on going in Japan, or past the air-dates. And the episode upload is shown in full no splitting up of videos like on youtube. I managed to find Mai Hime on Veoh. And quite a bit of Fate/Stay Night on Stage6 (Fate/Stay Night)

Blue Dragon Akira Toriyama’s Last anime?

Saw the latest blue Dragon anime trailer, which came out in April in Japan. It was under production by Studio Pierriot (makers of Naruto and Bleach ^^). So far it seems that the anime will follow closely to the game. ANN also reports that it will be Toriyama’s last anime?

According to ANN Apple’s iTunes store is now carrying anime from Funimation. You Can see a preview of each Eps like the song when you click play on an episode.

Byousoku 5 Centimeter - New Makoto Shinkai Anime

My first anime post for 2007 is related to Makoto Shinkai, I decided to write a post on his latest anime film since I am a fan of his works.

(秒速5センチメートル) Byousoku 5 Centimeter a chain of short stories about their distances is the latest independent Anime from talented animator and Artist Makoto Shinkai. Having read about it last year on Alafista Blog, I found new updates to the official site with a new trailer and showcasing some of his past independant anime works. I do recommend checking out the official site to view the HD-Teaser trailer for better viewing.

Makoto will also be teaming up with Temon who will be doing the music.

I really think that Makoto Shinkai is really up to par with the more established anime production houses and not only has good stories to tell, but thas the ability to put emotions into his anime productions. On a side note Makoto Also uses Macs in his productions
