Bōnen no Xamdou [ANN] a secret project by BONES a fast and cool mecha anime, when I first saw the trailer I immediately noticed Eureka Seven style, which is incidentally by the same company. Check out the HD trailer here at dailymotion. The anime is also set to premiere on PSN network Video store which I am happy about it. Can’t wait for it! I will check out the 1st episode to see if it will warrant a buy from PSN. Going to have to add this to my anime watchlist.

Queens Blade Anime

HD reports that a Queens Blade anime is in the works ,by the same team that brought you Mai Hime. I hope te story is not that screwed up, and at leat its a funny eechi anime.

Looks like a Sky Girs WWII, magic, mecha, loli, anime. But I remembered seeing the short OVA test video which I found cute. Finally there is an anime series  being produced.

White Album anime

White Album is getting the anime Treatment, its been a while since I heard some news of visual novels (eroge) turning into anime. According to the Wikipedia the hero has a girlfriend and your objective is to try to keep her, or do nothing. I am expecting something funny / serious along the lines of Shuffle. According to Moonphase a PS3 game port is also in the works from AQUAPLUS.

Vampire Knight Season 2

With Vampire Knight Finishing a 2nd season has already been announced. I am kind of behind some of my anime and compiling screens and Videos for upcoming Summer anime list.  Also with a bunch of PS3, PS2 Games I borrowed from a friend things can get a little tight on time.

Kurenai Preview

With Kanokon and To Love RU Coming to an end, deciding to pick up another anime to watch; Kurenai. I like the plot form the start of this anime, young man becomes the body guard for a stubborn little girl I am kind of a fan of animes that focus on the "slice of life" thing. Will be taking a look at the first episode later this week. Yes I know I am a little late with this one but its a short one (12 Episodes) that I can look at pretty fast since all the subs are pretty much out.

Dengeki has a couple of new screenshots of this upcoming DS game from Sega. An Anime is also in the works from Production I.G. The cast and staff involved seems pretty good too.

The video highlights the involvement of Kirie’s voice actor Mamoru Miyano (Death Note, Gundam 00) and the main heroine Morute Āshera’s voice actress Maaya Sakamoto (Escaflowne, Tsubasa). Rounding out the cast are Yu Kobayashi (Negima!, School Rumble) as the party member Ri A, Hiroyuki Yoshino (Blood+, Gundam 00) as Agan Mādoru, and Daisuke Ono (Air, Shina Dark) as Naja Gurefu. Tohru Furuya (Gundam’s Amuro, Sailor Moon’s Tuxedo Mask) has finally been identified as the voice of the mascot character Toppi Topuran.

The movie also lists the director Shunsuke Tada (The Prince of Tennis: The National Tournament, Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations) and the script supervisor Masahiro Yokotani (Reideen). The game’s original character designs by Kunihiko Tanaka (Xenosaga Episode I, Key the Metal Idol, Ruin Explorers manga) will be adapted for the anime by character designer Keita Matsumoto (Blood+, XXXHOLiC key animation). Yoshihiro Ike (Blood: The Last Vampire, Karas, Flag) will compose the music. Last Exile character designer and Knights manga creator Minoru Murao will be drawing the manga adaptation.

Check out this anime style batman tailer. Coming out to DVD and Blu-Ray this project reminds me alot of the animatrix project. The anime is a tie in with anime film creators and will link to the new movie “Batman The Dark Knight”. I will be taking a look at the Blu-Day version once released. Batman is definitely going to be one of the better movies this year.

BLUE DRAGON Tenkai no Shichi Ryuu

It seems Blue Dragon [Anime] has a 2nd season. The same studio (PIERROT) is handling the production and a few episodes have already aired. I am still trying to convince myself to get a xbox360 to play this game though, the character designs looks like they will appeal to a younger audience. I also love the concept of the character controlling his own shadow.

Vexille

Love the Appleseed anime, then you should check out Vexille! From the same creators as Appleseed look set in another Masume Shirow world. The movie has already premiered and is on DVD. I am waiting for a blu-ray version to come out though
