Old Short History

ARIA Anime started out in blogger, moved on in late 2005 to ariaanime.wordpress.com, later moved to ariaanime.ikimashou.net which went down. Dark times, while I actively blogged at abanzai.animeblogger.net. The site was revied again in 2008 (post link) and I am here once again bringing the latest screens of anime I watch. I post all my pictures to Flickr and Zooomr so as I can create a huge archive of anime screens.

Old Long About History:

ARIA Anime was created in my spare time in late 2005 around the time wordpress.com was just getting started, to get my feet wet into blogging. I was experimenting to with blogger at that time but found it difficult to customise and use it efficiently.

ARIA Anime aims to bring the latest screens from anime in RAW format unsubbed or Subbed anime, whichever I can get my hands on first. While it is difficult to write summaries, I will keep it mostly short and simple along with my own impressions. My long goal is by using flickr, daily motion to store as many screens captures of anime video I watch.

ARIA Anime will be an evloving work in progress. Hopefully one day I will be able to get my own server/ web host so I can further customise the site and make the site more useful than just a blog; maybe a web portal?

ARIA Anime Meaning:

Aria:

a·ri·a noun.

Etymology: Italian, literally, atmospheric air, modification of Latin aer
1 : AIR, MELODY,

TUNE; specifically : an accompanied elaborate melody sung (as in an opera) by a single voice
2 : a striking solo performance (as in a movie)

I Chose the name Aria cause I was inspired after watching ARIA the Animation and also would like to keep it with the theme of an Air Melody and free flowing nature of the wind.
