Found this from local ‘My Paper’ in Singapore, Maid cafes are starting to come up in California, however the difference is it is more of like walking into and art fantasy world rather than a hangout for Gamers.
As stated by the owner Susan Hancock who never been to a maid cafe in Japan
“Our maids don’t call customers ‘Master’ and are sweet rather than flirty”
