Veoh and stage6 (DIVX.com) recently have a huge influx of anime shows un-subbed & subbed unlicensed anime series that are on going in Japan, or past the air-dates. And the episode upload is shown in full no splitting up of videos like on youtube. I managed to find Mai Hime on Veoh. And quite a bit of Fate/Stay Night on Stage6 (Fate/Stay Night)

If you like to download you have to install the plugin (now ad-free unlike in the past where there were trojans) for Stage6 and you can view anime shows right in your browser or download to your comp for later viewing. Divx is Mac friendly too Since DIVX is Mp4 most videos are of similar quality to fansubs, though I prefer Xvid. the downside is that to upload u need to trasncode/ re-encode the videos to divx format but there are a tools to do that on the site.

I did not like veoh way of handling downloads, cause the plugin is an application itself which u have to install offline into your comp which is Windows only I am not sure about uploading cause I have never used veoh much, Still i u rather watch online veoh is still quite good.

In the past I use to go to IRC to get the latest anime fansubs and there were no prewiews or screens of the video that you were downloading. I do miss the community of IRC where people really share stuff. Lately its still bittorrent for me as it allows me to pause & resume downloads.
With the new web 2.0 stuff coming out right now its easier to get new content besides anime. Anyone now can get their own channel and broadcast in high quality (Stage6) I only hope that it will not turn out like youtube where videos get taken down during their “scheduled maintenance”

Having said that please buy the DVDs if you really like the series. I have bought quite a few anime DVDs for series I like to re-watch them.
