Blue Dragon Akira Toriyama’s Last anime?

Saw the latest blue Dragon anime trailer, which came out in April in Japan. It was under production by Studio Pierriot (makers of Naruto and Bleach ^^). So far it seems that the anime will follow closely to the game. ANN also reports that it will be Toriyama’s last anime?

Akira Toriyama designs of blue dragon are reminiscence of Dragon ball but I wished that they followed the manga version as it seemed more cool 
Having never owned an xbox360 yet I am glad that Blue Dragon is getting an extra form promotion throught anime, this may help x360 sales over in Japan (I doubt so but they should bring it over to PS3 ^^) plus I can understand the story without having to play the JP version. But other than that it looks like its going into my anime watchlist this year.
I believe youtube will have the first subbed episode in no time…
Is this going to be really his last anime after Dragon Ball? Well according to a forum member at animesuki pointed this out:
I think the ANN item misunderstood the original Japanese item it linked to. Toriyama did the original character design for the game and the anime, and dropped the bombshell at the Tokyo International Anime Fair over the weekend that it was going to be his last anime. The original Japanese news item was putting questions to director Matsushita, who said among other things that he felt a lot of pressure being the one to direct the last anime Toriyama was going to work on. It was Matsushita, not Toriyama, who made the various comments quoted.
